Nail salon owner guide
How Much Does a Nail Salon Website Cost?
There is no useful single price without a scope. Compare what is being built, what you own and what continues to cost money after launch. A low monthly figure and a one-time project fee may cover very different things.

Separate the cost categories
| Cost | What to clarify |
|---|---|
| Design and setup | Pages, layouts, mobile work, revisions and launch checks |
| Content | Who supplies the menu, copy, translations and licensed images |
| Domain and hosting | Account owner, renewal price, billing period and support |
| Booking integration | Simple link, embedded widget or a supported custom integration |
| Maintenance | Updates, backups, small edits, response process and exclusions |
| Additional software | Booking subscriptions, premium plugins or external services billed separately |
Compare the same scope
Give each provider the same brief: number of locations, approved services, required languages, existing booking provider and the pages you need. Ask whether the quoted price includes entering the menu, connecting the domain and checking the booking path on a phone.
Write down the number of included revision rounds and what happens when you add a new location or change the full menu later. A template-based build can be appropriate; what matters is whether the delivered site meets your requirements and can be maintained.
Calculate the first year and the exit cost
Use this planning formula: first-year cost = setup + content/integration extras + twelve monthly charges + annual renewals not already included. Avoid adding the same hosting charge twice if it is bundled. Compare later-year costs separately because setup may not recur.
Then ask what happens when the contract ends. Confirm domain ownership, administrator access, export or transfer arrangements and any applicable cancellation terms. These answers belong in the written proposal.
Prepare a quote-ready brief
List your salon name and location, current website, booking link, menu status, preferred languages, approved photographs and desired launch window. Mark which items you already have and which need to be produced. This gives a provider enough information to estimate real work rather than offer a headline price with unexplained extras.
Nail Marketing provides a tailored scope; the pricing page explains the components to review. An example planning formula is not a quote or a market-average price.
Questions before you begin
Is a cheaper monthly site always cheaper overall?
Not necessarily. Compare the same period, inclusions, renewal costs and ownership or transfer conditions.
Does website design include booking software?
It may include a link or agreed integration. The booking provider’s subscription and payment charges are separate unless expressly included.
