For nail salon owners

Reviews & reputation for nail salons

Make it easy for guests to share an honest experience, and respond with care when feedback needs attention. A useful reputation process supports the service your team provides.

Who this is for

For salons with inconsistent review requests, unanswered feedback or no clear handoff between the manager and the person responding online.

An honest request process

Review support can include checking the correct review destination, drafting a neutral request, preparing a QR or follow-up message and agreeing who sends it. Ask customers for their genuine experience without conditioning the invitation on whether they were happy.

Google prohibits incentives for reviews and selectively soliciting positive reviews. A discount, gift or prize should not be exchanged for a Google review. A referral promotion is a separate programme and should not be tied to posting a review.

Respond without exposing guest information

Acknowledge the feedback, avoid arguments and offer an appropriate private contact route. Do not publish booking records, payment details or personal information to prove a point. Complaints involving specific service facts should be checked with the salon manager before a reply is approved.

  • Agree the platforms and review frequency.
  • Define a response tone and who approves sensitive replies.
  • Escalate factual complaints to the owner or manager.
  • Identify potentially policy-breaking content for the platform’s normal reporting process.

What the service does not promise

Support does not guarantee removal of a negative review, a particular star rating or a fixed number of new reviews. A useful report records response coverage, recurring issues and actions the salon can take to improve the guest experience.

Scope and pricing

Deliverables, timing, setup and recurring fees are stated in your tailored proposal. Platform spend, external software and additional production are included only when explicitly listed.

Questions before you begin

Can you remove a bad review?

Removal is controlled by the platform. A review can be reported when there is a relevant policy basis; a negative opinion alone is not a guarantee of removal.

Can we reward guests for reviewing us?

Do not exchange incentives for Google reviews. Keep any loyalty or referral offer separate from review requests.

Can we ask everyone?

Use a neutral process for genuine customers and respect their communication preferences. Do not screen out unhappy customers before requesting a review.
